BEING A CHURCH SCHOOL
OUR VISION FOR ALL SAINTS
To build strong relationships and fulfil potential. To develop a feeling of family and nurture a strong sense of belonging. To discover the wonder of God’s creations and the worth of one another. To teach children to live well though the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
FAITH COUNCIL
The Faith Council is chosen each year and helps in the planning and delivery of collective worship, through reflection, discussion and decision making. They explore the topic for collective worship services that take place in church in greater depth and meet regularly with the vicar or curate of All Saints Church
PRAYER SPACES
The children all had a wonderful time doing all the different activities provided in conjunction with prayer spaces and the schools requirements. The children especially liked the tent where they could just sit and watch a variety of visually soothing stimuli. They also enjoyed thinking about the environment while they were making their green hearts and watching how they could forgive others by putting a fizzy tablet in a large bottle of water – watching their frustrations just fizz away. The children also liked making shapes out of colourful stones- a simple task – but they were absorbed- so much so, that the school has bought their own.
Everything was planned with the school in mind, the children really enjoyed the day and the ladies that set up the activities were a delight. I will definitely be asking them to come again and would highly recommend them to other schools in the area. We are even going to design our own prayer spaces.
